Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
